WoW! What a great finish to this, JJ! The gorgeous yellows and reds against the pure blue sky makes such a bold and beautiful display...perfect! What I see is a face lifted to the sun, drinking in the rays and nature's nourishment.

Wonderful job with the petals. I really feel them going every which way, criss-crossing, falling over, pushing upward. Very nice movement and composition---love the crop. It must be quite the wall-filler at that size! I'd love to see it framed and hanging.

This is a terrific floral painting. I really like the play of light and dark in it. The green part looks very good now that you've deepened the shadows. This should do very well at the show.

AUTUMN WALK Wow JJ....I think there is a lot of EXCELLENT stuff here! The light is just great.. I really like it! It feels like a warm, beautiful Autumn day!
I think you have really got some beautiful things happening here. I love the different colors in the leaves and how you've left openings for the sky to peek through. The tree trunks are well done with varying diameters and spacing, the shadows are excellent too.
There's lot's of excellent stuff here. You're mastery of this frustrating medium keeps growing. You've shown us how much lot's of hard work can accomplish.

You've painted such a pleasant scene--I really like the dappled sunshine effect and the delicate looking trees with the leaves just about to fall off. And the rusty colors are very pretty, too.
